Unexplained low grade fever since 2 months

    Dear Doctor,

I am suffering from fever for the past 2 months.. I had my blood test, urine culture, chest x-ray, hepatitis tests done.. but all the reports are normal..except for high esr which is 27..
there are no other symptoms.. fever ranges from 98.6-99.4 and fluctuates through out the day.. i dont have any cough or cold.
please suggest what are the next steps that could be taken.

Do you still have fever? ESR of 27 is not considered high enough to be significant. If you still have fever, I suggest you recheck it and also other tests a doctor may ask for depending on the current clinical features.
