    Trinessa and unusual periods

So I am 25 years old and have been on trinessa (the 28 day pack) for about 6 years now. I have been on different birth control pills in the past since I was about 15. My question is, I started my normal period on Friday and had a VERY unusually light flow during the day Friday and again very light Saturday. Then I have not had any flow of any kind since then. I have never had an abnormal period lime this. Could this just be my body changing as I get older or should I go see a doctor to rule out a pregnancy? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, TriNessa is Norgestimate and Ethinyl Estradiol in a tablet form used for oral contraception. The failure rate of these pills is very low and the possibility of pregnancy is unlikely, unless you have missed some tablets in this cycle. Since it is already a week since then you can get a urine pregnancy test done if you feel necessary and see a doctor if it is positive.
If the next cycle is also very light, you may want to see your gynecologist.
