Thyroxine and pregnancy, when to increase the dose?
When should we increase the dosage of thyroxine in pregnancy? Early or late?
-
Early, by 30%
I have recently read that the dose of thyroxine should be increased as early as possible after pregnancy is diagnosed. The suggested quantum of increase is by about 30%.
