Sexual activity declines for heart attack patients not getting doctors' advice, study finds
Less than half of heart attack patients received information about resuming sex before discharge. Men were more likely to have a discussion about sexual activity with their physician than women. Lack of discussion on resuming sexual activity after heart attack was associated with less sexual activity in the next year.
