    Problems after laparoscopic cholecystectomy

    Hello everybody,

A patient (today 34 yo) had laparoscopic cholecystectomy 12 years ago. Since then, he experienced 5-6 painful attacks with jaundice, average one attack per two years.

He did ERCP and MRCP (two times) few days after each attack and results were satisfactory (no gallstones, no other obstructions...)

Your thoughts please? What can cause these attacks? Is there any medicaments to prevent further problems?

    Thanks
