A middle age mother of 2 was diagnosed to have end stage gastric carcinoma not long ago and recently she went through 4 sessions of chemotherapy and an operation,according to her son, to distend her stomach. Following which she had severe vomiting and diarrhea every time her family feed her with some soft sweet food for the past 5 days after the surgery. Now her family members noticed that she is breathing with more effort and her left upper and lower limbs are edematous. According to her son she is currently on IV fluid and antiemetic. She is very weak and unable to talk but still able to feed orally.

Please give suggestions on the management of such patient and how to improve the patient's condition.
