    Anybody with skin diseases?

I think, and perhaps experience has proven it that worst pimples, rashes, internal diseases of the skin and system can be cured by drinking coconut water, definitely not in winter but in hot and humid summers. Anybody with more knowledge is welcome to share?

    Hi Antony,

Is that your experience about coconut water? It is very much possible that coconut water is useful in the treatment of skin conditions.

During hot/humid conditions, sweating is excessive and results in some amount of dehydration. Coconut water will contribute water in addition to the naturally present minerals which may be useful in managing it.

As such, coconut water is a naturally sterile and 'mineral' water. Those who have studied it, especially in the Indian medicinal system of Ayurveda, attribute many more medicinal properties to coconut water, which unfortunately has not been studied enough by 'modern' medicine. However, studies are not lacking too. Check this search on PubMed about coconut water if you are interested.

When ever I see a Person with Skin diseases I became cautious and try to move away from him. I feel I might get infected by them.

My question is, Is Skin diseases are really contiguous? Can you
get affected by that by coming in contact with that person?

    How contiguous is Leprosy?
